Gotek Group at the "СеМАТ RUSSIA" exhibition
On September 20, the 12th International Exhibition "СеМАТ RUSSIA" opened in the Moscow Crocus Expo IEC. One of the speakers with a report on the topic "Corrugated cardboard packaging market 2022: 2nd half of the year" was Yury Alpeev, the Director of Strategic Marketing of the Gotek Group, Chairman of the Expert Council of the National Packaging Confederation.
In his speech, Yury Vladimirovich noted that after the market decline by 10% in May this year, the situation is currently stabilizing and, taking into account the economic indicators expected for the second half of the year, the market will be in dynamics from 0 - 2% (baseline scenario) to - 3% (pessimistic scenario).
The influence of factors on the corrugated cardboard packaging market in the 2nd half of the year and at the entrance to 2023 will be determined by the current situation in global politics and the economy. Under the influence of external economic factors and changes in consumer demand, FMCG manufacturers adapt their business strategies, which will form the current requirements for packaging manufacturers.
