"Gotek" group launched a new dust-exhaust system

"Gotek" group launched a new dust-exhaust system; its installation was the second stage of a large project for modernization of ventilation and air conditioning systems in the workshop of the production department. Its main task is to improve the working conditions of the workshop employees.

During the first stage of the project, which consisted of upgrading the existing air conditioning system, a major overhaul of all rooftop air conditioners was carried out, and air ducts were replaced at work centers. They fully meet the requirements of GOST, and to minimize the loss of cold air they are additionally laminated. In addition, on each work center a special diffuser is installed. Its task is to bring the microclimate at the workplace to meet the requirements of SanPiN. Separate work was carried out on the section of the corrugating unit. Due to the high temperature conditions, additional air conditioners were installed at each work center which will maintain the necessary microclimate all year round.

The new dust-exhaust system from the German company Nestro removes trimming and dust from processing lines by vacuum suction, and air purification is carried out by three filters at once. After such filtration, the manufacturing company claims air purification up to 99.8%.

The implementation of the project for modernization of ventilation and air conditioning systems in the workshop will allow the company to improve the working conditions of personnel in the summer season, reduce the noise level emitted during the operation of blowers, reduce the amount of paper dust appearing during the transportation of trim, not only in the air, but also, including, settling on finished products. Among other issues, the project will reduce electricity consumption by 40%.
