The warehouse management system passed successful testing
A large investment project to optimize the warehouse complex is being implemented since the middle of the last year at Zheleznogorsk site with the participation of Russian control systems developer LogistiX. Today the new adaptable system of warehouse management LEAD WMS is undergoing implementation and testing. The WMS will be another important link in the just-in-time system for working with customers.

"LEAD WMS will increase the speed and productivity of warehouse operations and increase warehouse throughput. This will help our customers be flexible in shaping their own production plans. By making the most efficient use of warehouse space, we will be able to "unload" space for our customers. This will be especially important for customers who have to reschedule the shipment and delivery of finished goods due to production requirements.

The automatic stock identification equipment was installed, connected and tested at the end of January. Immediately we integrated the new software with existing information systems in the company, trained personnel to work in the new system and launched an inventory of pallets (more than 5000), so that all finished products were declared in the system and the cycle of reception and release by bar codes was started. Now we are in the testing phase and, according to the requirements of the program, we are reconstructing the work of all departments involved in the production and delivery of products to the warehouse. WMS will significantly reduce the time to perform daily routine operations and facilitate the work of the warehouse staff.
This means we are almost ready to go into commercial operation and replicate the system to other
warehousing complexes of the company.
Our new adaptable warehouse management system will allow us to improve our logistics service
indicators and take our customer relations to a new level," - noted Sergey Sbrodov, Director of the
Logistics Department.
