Gotek Group: Digitalization of operational processes

The development of production processes and mastery of new tools and technologies directly impacts the lowering of the labor intensity of personnel operations and improving the quality of the basic services provided, as well as enabling us to meet the growing needs of our customers. One of the prospective areas implemented in the company in this area is "digitalization of operating processes". Sergey Sbrodov, Director for Logistics Department, says.

"As part of the development of the "digitalization of operational processes", we are launching two new projects on the basis of Gotek-Center and Gotek-SSC.
The purpose of the project "Automation of quality management processes", implemented at the Gotek-Center, is to improve the quality of finished products and to reduce the labor intensity of the daily operational activities of quality service personnel. Through specially designed software for recording parameters of the production process, we plan to avoid paperwork and reduce the time or simplify the process of entering information into the system. This, in turn, will enable online monitoring of key parameters of finished product quality, timely detecting deviations in the technological process and reducing the production of defective products to a minimum.

As part of the second project, "Integration with freight forwarding companies", which is being implemented on the basis of Gotek-SSC, we intend to create a website for online registration of trips and install a LED display for drivers of heavy vehicles to streamline the loading queue. In conjunction with the adaptable WMS warehouse management system, which has recently been implemented, an operational plan of shipment of finished products will be formed, which will allow us to improve the accuracy of finished product shipment and become another important link that allows us to work with clients on a "just in time" (JIT) system. And the conversion to e-documentation accompanying the shipment process will also facilitate the work of our logistics staff. Overall, the shift to e-document workflow will increase the efficiency of most logistics operations.
