Personnel training as the basis for the industry's success

Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Enterprise Group "Gotek" Vladimir Chuykov and Director of the Product Development Department of the Corrugated Division of the Enterprise Group "Gotek" Roman Shibanov took part in the scientific practical conference "State and Prospects of Personnel Training to Work in the Packaging Industry of the Russian Federation". Vladimir Chuykov, as the President of the National Confederation of Packagers, focused on the development of intellectual human capital assets in the industry. Continuing this topic, Roman Shibanov told the conference participants about the training of personnel to work at the enterprises of the Gotek Group. He dwelt in detail on the Employee Journey Map (EJM) methodology which is used in the company to form and develop human resources. EJM is a visualized map of an employee's "journey" in the company covering all stages: from searching and selecting personnel to dismissal and possible return. Particular attention is paid to the adaptation of new employees. For this purpose individual tasks, support from curators, motivational meetings with managers and inclusion in corporate life are used. The company also actively supports the professional development of employees and their career ambitions - through internal training events, training at the corporate School of Value Proposition Creation, participation in seminars and conferences, as well as obtaining specialized higher education at the company's expense.

One of the key elements of EJM at the Enterprise Group "Gotek" is the program for training engineers who study all aspects of the packaging industry, including packaged products, materials, design and engineering, equipment and technologies, and analysis of the packaging life cycle.
The company's experience shows that EJM is an effective tool that helps attracting talented specialists, retain them and ensure their professional development.
