Data Matrix Technology Implemented

"Gotek-Polipak" JSC has launched a new service that will enable manufacturers to significantly reduce costs and speed up product rollout on market. State-of-the-art Data Matrix coding equipment has been commissioned at the third plant in the Plastics division ("Gotek-Polipak" JSC, "Gotek-Polipak Pereslavl" LLC, "Gotek-Polipak Aramil" LLC . All production sites are now fully equipped with the labeling technology and can provide customers with pre-marked packaging materials that comply with the "Honest SIGN" system.

The expanding list of products subject to mandatory labeling in Russia is creating significant challenges for businesses. Following snacks and dairy products, pet food now also requires labeling and the goods list continues to grow. It means significant capital investments in equipment, maintenance costs, staff training and a more complex production cycle for many manufacturers. The coding technology is adapted to various business needs. Anna Lukyanchikova, a process engineer in the production department, explains that the system enables both interlayer and surface printing allowing for flexible adaptation to the specifics of each order.
