10 packaging solutions of the Gotek Group became the winners of the main Russian packaging industry competition "ProdExtraPack-2022"

The winners of the competition are eligible to take part in the WorldStar Packaging Awards, an annual global competition for the best packaging, held by the World Packaging Organization (WPO).

The packaging solution for the cone packaging from Gotek ("Product Chooses Packaging" category) is a unique design effort for a premium class packaging. Completely eco-friendly solution made of single-cut double-faced corrugated cardboard, with one gluing point and easy to assemble. The design has sufficient strength to ensure the safety of the product, and completely eliminates the need to use additional reinforcing elements from other materials (staples, adhesive tape, plastic lining and etc.). The lid of the product allows you to visually demonstrate an exclusive product in retail outlets without compromising its appearance, withstanding a large number of opening and closing cycles.

The packaging solution for spare car parts from Gotek-Center ("Product Chooses Packaging" category) is made from a single sheet of corrugated cardboard. A well-arranged design solution allowed to reduce the consumption of polymer films that were previously used to protect the product. In addition, the product is easy to assemble and allows you to maintain the integrity of the product at all stages of storage and transportation.

Toothpaste packaging designed by Gotek North-West ("Product Chooses Packaging" category) is a patented export packaging solution designed in accordance with the requirements of European retail. The product is completely eco-friendly - the design allows assembly without the use of additional fixing elements from other materials and is designed for packaging of product on automatic lines. The attractiveness of original appearance is achieved due to the 3D effect, providing excellent visibility of the product and its communication with the buyer. Triple fixation of the tubes in the insert guarantees the safety of the product during transportation.

SRP solution with HQ Flexo print for cat food designed by Gotek North-West ("Product Chooses Packaging" category). The new design solution and the replacement of offset printing with high-quality flexo printing have reduced the cost of packaging and its environmental impact, while at the same time highlighting the product on the store-shelf and attracting the attention of customers.

A set of eco-friendly packaging for metal goods: packaging with a dispenser and packaging with carrying handles designed by Gotek North-West ("Product Chooses Packaging" category) - export packaging for a wide range of metal products. The design provides quick and easy access to the product at the sale points. The products are equipped with a dispenser and a self-locking device that allow you to dispense the required amount of product, prevent spillage and it also withstand a large number of opening and closing cycles. The packaging solutions are made of E-profile microcorrugated cardboard, designed for manual assembly, and one of the boxes is equipped with carrying handles.

The complex of cardboard trays for fruit and vegetable products designed by Gotek-Print ("Packaging for food and beverages" category) allows not only to increase the attractiveness of the product for the consumer, but also to reduce the negative impact on the environment. The packaging is made using the technology of cardboard slimming (gluing two flat layers) using the double-sided printing method. High quality printing is identical on the outside and inside of the tray.

Gift packaging for alcoholic beverages designed by Gotek-Print ("Packaging for food and beverages" category) was developed and manufactured to launch a new premium segment product on the market. The product is made of four-layer cardboard, while two layers, including the inner one, are made using the technology of sliming (gluing two flat layers together). The packaging uses several types of finishes that allow the product to stand out from the background of competing drinks: printing on the inside, matte lamination, selective UV varnishing, blind foil impression and cold embossing on the outside. The presence of a window for reading the barcode and excise stamp greatly simplifies the process of selling the product to the consumer at the checkout point.

Packaging with HQ Flexo print for eggs designed by Gotek North-West (“Packaging for food and beverages” category). The use of HQ Flexo technology made it possible to preserve the primary original design and reduce the cost of packaging without losing the attractiveness and end-user performance of the product.

HQ Flexo packaging for crabs designed by Gotek North-West (“Packaging for food and beverages” category) was developed for a premium-class product that is being introduced for the first time to the Russian market. Engineering and design solutions are unique for Russia. The product consists of a bottom and a lid. The lid is made of white three-layer cardboard with high-quality four-color flexo printing. The bottom of the package is a tray with holes and it has a special coating with hydrophobic properties that allow you to immerse the product in water and subject it to shock freezing directly in the package without compromising the appearance of the product and its consumer properties. All used additives and coatings have the necessary quality and safety certificates for food contact.

Packaging for mineral wool designed by Gotek-Polipak ("Innovations in packaging" category) is made in accordance with the principles of sustainable development. Together with the client, the company solved the problem of recycling PE film waste. For this case was developed a new film composition using granules from recycled raw materials obtained by recycling. The share of recycled raw materials for the production of this packaging solution is 15%, which significantly reduces the amount of PE in landfills, while all the primary physical and mechanical properties of the film are preserved. A special specification has been developed for the film.
