Gotek-SSC company summed up the results of the first stage of the national project
In late December last year, Gotek-SSC company became a member of the national project “Improvement of labor efficiency and Support for employment,”, implemented with the support of the Federal Competence Center (FCC). Summing up the results of the first stage of the project, Igor Medvedev, Deputy director of warehouse and transport logistics, noted that all the tasks facing the team at this stage have been completed. The participants were trained, and a reference site and a pilot stream were analyzed and defined. Furthermore, the project team will soon have its own certified trainers, who at the end of March were trained on the basis of the Moscow FCC and are preparing for certification.

One of the tasks of the project for Gotek-SSC is to introduce lean manufacturing methods and translate a unified approach to the workflow between manufacturing enterprises and Gotek-SSC departments that are directly involved in the production logistics chain.
Currently, the addressed storage system has already been introduced on the pilot flow, which was the warehouse of raw materials of Gotek company. The 5S system has been introduced at the workplaces of storekeepers, shift supervisors and the chief storekeeper. During April loader drivers will be trained to gain skills in driving all types of forklifts.
The main tasks that need to be implemented on flow during the implementation of the project are to reduce the cost of transportation of raw materials, the time of the process and reduce the number of return rolls.
