Implementation of the mentoring system based on the TWI method has begun in Gotek Group

The Gotek Group has launched a project to develop the mentoring system, the main goal of which is the implementation of on-the-job training methods based on the TWI system and the optimization of the current mentoring system.

TWI (Training Within Industry) is on-the-job training system for production staff that allows you to clearly and consistently plan a knowledge transfer system, track places that require additional attention and detailed study, and also reduces the time for personnel training.

The main advantages of implementing and using the TWI system in production are increasing productivity due to the error-free actions of employees, reducing the probability of defects in finished products, minimizing and preventing industrial injuries, as well as reducing the time for personnel training by half.

“Now the implementation of the methodology is taking place on the basis of the Gotek company, where the training of line managers and senior machinists of the production department, as internal certified trainers for industrial training, has already been completed. The flat die-cutting section was selected as a pilot area. Now we are faced with the task of describing the process of preparing according to the new methodology and adapting it to the system in place, including its harmonious implementation in the Autonomous maintenance of Equipment Project. And only then the methodology will be transmitted to other sites”, Vadim Shatskikh, Deputy Operations Director for the Development of the Gotek Group Production System, says.
